Digital Art Director

Reporting to the UI Design Director and part of the global design team, I define the visual language of all digital products, branding, and design system.

Key Achievements

• 2 Award-winning pilot products, resulting in a 20% brand perception increase.
• New direction validation by executives led to a 1M budget allowance for the design system.
• Led a team of 10 designers in the implementation of the design direction in multiplatform pilot products.
• Led cross-collaborative initiative between data scientists and designers to define the first transversal guidelines for data visualisation.
• Created multiple presentation templates for onboarding, project portfolio, and team mission and activities, resulting in time savings worth 50k€ per year for the team.

• Defining a design direction and visual language for the next generation of Schneider Electric software and application.
• Managing 4 designers' work and priorities.
• Ensuring coherence between products and transversal collaboration between product teams.
• Mentoring and supporting product designers in following best practices and standards.
• Create components aligned to the new visual style.
• Initiate illustration and motion language for interfaces.
• Increasing product designers’ motivation and quality of craft by constructively guiding them through applying design guidelines and processes to deliver the best experience for their users.
• Proactively streamlining design processes and addressing design operations gaps with scalable solutions.
